O! beautiful maiden, how do I describe thee in words so few?
For oft I think of thee and ponder,
Those words that hath been chosen for thee,
Fall so short of your splendour,
If I could only be the dust that touches thy feet,
I would be thine part in a manner so discreet,
Thine face that shines a radiant bright,
Makes my heart flutter as upon thee I set my sight,
Those luscious lips, they speak ever so silently whereupon sits thy
smile,
Makes me want to be part of thy haven for erewhile,
Thine eyes so pretty, always lost in a distant dream,
O! how they look lovely even when thou art mean,
Thy body so slender, soft like cream,
Hiding within a heart so clean,
Such that its purity defies white,
Thine soul shines luminous through day and night,
Let me be thine answer when love it is thou seek,
Love hast the power to make the mightiest meek,
For no longer can I my destiny delude,
Thou art my saviour, my joy's prelude!

This is where my heart resides,
In thy possession, keep it by,
I ask of Thee, Oh! Pretty Thee,
To accept my Love and I.

The light has vanished from its core,
Leaving the sordid heart so sore,
None that can smell the stench,
That comes from its rotting,
The silent voices cry within,
But they fall upon deaf ears,
The sheer indignation of a putrid soul,
Sometimes wily are nature's ways,
She decides who goes who stays,
We are but mere pawns in the play,
Hail the hero that embraces all the lies, Shame to the soul that shatters
its disguise.

24 hours ago in the moonlit night,
I came to your door,
Was happy to have you beside me,
Never to have missed that kiss,
It was new years eve,
There were firecrackers making noise,
But our conversation drowned the din,
All I could hear was our heartbeats within,
You held my gaze and I held yours,
We exchanged sweet nothings without a pause,
And then I asked you to come home to me,
The answer was we are never meant to be,
Dejected and disappointed I drove away,
I entered an empty house,
It's silence disturbed me,
So I went along to keep the stars and the moon some company,
I diddled around for a bit,
It was getting too tired to sit,
Therefore I headed back and went to sleep,
Never thought I'd be so lonely on New Year's eve!

Love is a blooming flower in the garden of the heart,
Spreading its sweet fragrance to your every part,
Love is the warmth that no sunshine could bring,
Letting your mind dream, making your heart sing,
Love it is the dance of the soul,
Setting you free while making you feel whole,
Love is the eternity that stretches beyond time,
Filling me with hope that someday you will be mine!

Are we prisoners of this life?
Is there no hope left in our strife?
Why does everything seem so bleak?
Where is the happiness that the soul might seek?
When will we see that eternal light?
What is there left, to be alright?
How do we live and how do we die?
It brings me back to questions, why?

I see it coming now,
From a far distant gaze,
Hopes all crashing down,
Left in nothing but a daze,
I look all around me,
I see people going by,
I'm sitting alone I wonder why?
I guess now, no more I have to pretend,
For I see it approaching, the beginning of my end!!!

Life is a burden that I carry,
It grows heavier with each passing day,
Becomes deeper as I stride along the way,
The way that leads to nowhere,
There will be a day when I get there,
There, where I am alone,
As I’m destined to be,
There’s nobody, just my tears and me,
No fear I will know,
No feelings in tow,
As I go deeper and deeper into the dark,
My journey, it has no end,
With life’s burden I have to bend,
Bend lower and lower till I pray,
Let this journey end in my grave!!

It seems so distant, but in my mind I am already there,
Reminiscing those moments, so precious, so rare,
T'was the time we had crisp uniforms and a smirk to wear,
Those were the days when we were under our teachers' care,
The camaraderie, the laughter, the mischief and the stare,
Of strict teachers should a prank we dare,
Our teachers they taught us to learn and to share,
And told us that life wouldn't always be fair,
So we had to be open, had always to prepare,
And today we have a witness to bear,
We are ever so thankful to our Alma Mater!

Of wounds and tears,
Of pain and fears,
We live a life of circumstance,
With a heap of love,
With a leap of faith,
We ought to give life a chance!
